Setting Up the LYKO Hydroponic system A Step-by-Step Guide Part I

Part I: Set up your garden

Hydroponic systems might appear like complex mechanisms that require a considerable amount of technical knowhow in order to set up. However, the system is actually designed for both rookies and veterans in hydroponic planting.
 
We’ve prepared this simple and easy to follow guide for anyone who wishes to set up their hydroponic system, regardless of technical knowhow or any prior experience. We hope this guide can help you get started in exploring the exciting world of hydroponics.
 
The LYKO package comes complete with all the main parts and accessories that you will need to set up the system.

When you open the box, you should find all the parts you will need, including the instruction manual:
 
  • Light panel
  • Extendable rod
  • Basket container
  • Water tank
  • Other necessary tools
 
You may start setting up the system following the instruction manual that comes with the package, or you may read on for further instructions.

Step 1
 
Before you assemble the system, find an area with accessible terminals so that it would be easy to link the cable. Take out the water tank and water tank top cover from the box, and then put the cover on the water tank. Make sure that the water tank is empty.

Step 2
 
As illustrated below, mount the extendable rod on the water tank top cover. Use the ARROW direction as a guide—make sure that the arrows would match well. Then, mount the light panel on the extendable rod.

Step 3
 
Connect the power adaptor to a DC jack. However, practice safety and don’t link the cable to the terminals!

Step 4
 
Find the plastic tubes and place them through the slots in the water tank cover.

Once this is done, you’re all set up!
